So I've installed the Pioneer AppRadio so I can interface my iPhone with my stereo. There are apps that will let me read OBD data on the head unit and display some cool gauges and read error codes etc.

Anyone have any experience with the various devices that I might buy? Any they care to recommend or warn against? Not knowing much about this technology, I'm a little overwhelmed by the choices.

great experience with the bluetooth elm327 module and the torque app for android. I also think toque is on the apple market
