Default Oil Pan Gasket Replacement

Hi guys i found an old post on this that said it was an extensive job, i've got moderate experience and was wondering if this was something i could take on in the garage? Are there any DIY on this? Thanks!

I think the biggest challenge is removing the transfer case on the 2.5 and 3.0 engines. Aside from that, doesn't look too bad when looking at the instructions from Jaguar.

you only remove the transfer case if its a manual transmmison. if you pull the axle out and damage the internal seal(can not be service) you will have to replace the transfer case
