Oxidized Headlights

I got a 03 x-type 2.5 with severe headlight oxidization that you couldn't see the road at night. So I went and bought Meguiar's Plastx and did some rubbing on the headlights. It turned out surprisingly well... on where i rubbed it, it seems there are heavy oxidization on the inside of the lens. Hoping if anyone knows any tricks to cleaning this or steps to removing the lens so that i can rub on the inside also. New headlights are $350 per
. Thanks

Hey foxtrot, there's a hazy headlight remedy in the x type faq quick link I think, or possibly the detailing section, but it sounds as though you've kinda done this procedure. If the problem is inside you could always take the lamps apart as some have done to install the Audi R8 style led lights. It involves placing them in the oven if I remember rightly for a short period oftime to loosen the adhesive and then they need prised apart. You'll need to be doubly sure when you re assemble them to seal them so as to avoid moisture ingress.....there's a few posats on this procedure somewhere I'm sure
Ah..kinda been bummed a bit...and stayed busy with projects round the house....hanging out with some friends i haven't seen in a few years....all these things i wanna do, but no time!!
