The two wire connector with the red and green wire that controls the throttle motor on the X-type crumbled when I pulled it out of the socket and am not certain now which pin location the wires go. I think the red goes on the top of the connector but am unsure. Would appreciate if someone observed this connector and let me know how it is wired, green on top or is it red on top?? Thanks, thoroughly appreciated

 

If your X-Type is in those regards the same as my S-Type, then yes: Red on top.
