Default Paint the rims

Hello all, I have 17 inch alloy rims that look pathetic. They need to be refurbished. I was thinking about painting them myself. I think duplicolor has a kit out there. Has anyone had any luck DIY? Will the paint last longer than one winter if I spray them myself. Llooking for all feedback. Thank you.

Hi Tony,

Take a look at these fpr example, its amazing what you can do, but bear in mind, I think deep gouges are very hard to sort.

BUT, its a superb and cheap way of doing it, good on you!

I used a Dupicolor Kit from Autozone that lasted 4+ years on my Durango. Instead of newspaper, I used 3x5 cards inserted between the rim and tire.
