Well guys, after my 6 hour marathon on the Saab yesterday, I got round to the X today.
Only managed 4 hours though[]
That time was spent exclusively on the calipers, rims n hubs.
Painted each caliper thouroughly (in Silver- nuthin too flash) and also the wheel hubs and the inner part of the discs / rotors. Some of you may have noticed that these get old n rusty looking - not the look I want!
Only managed one coat on each unfortunately, so I will have to revisit this at a later date, but, its a start.
Alos while off I washed the inner wheel wells and shock assy, as well as cleaning the inside of the rims.
Put em all back together and ....what a difference
Nice n bright n shiny, to match the rims.
Did not have time or forethought to take pics, however, next coat that I give it I will make sure its the first thing I do.

Tried putting the logos off ebay on my calipers. They send a spare one to practise with but they just wouldnt stay where I wanted them (too fideley,thin)..so as I have 2 left (out of 5) with none on the calipers I think I will put them on the back of the headrests.

Hey there somekidz............check out Nineballs caliper pics....mine are exactly the same, but without the logos on them. Nice job by the way Nineball...........to me it looks like you also painted the hub and inner part of discs like me....correct?
I also went for silver as I didn't want anything too flash.........red and yellow etc are all well n good on Evo's etc but not for the Jag, well, not mine anyway.
As for the Logos Somekidz, I have them in my drawer in my office.......still wondering whether to fit or not??/........hmmmmm
I'm thinkin not,If I do it will be after another 2 coats anyway.........so still time.

nope, just the calipers. i do however clean the area very well, including removing the wheels once a month.

Good job nineball.........thats what I call thorough!
There's a guy stays down my street..........a maniac for cleaning his car, gets into all sorts of positions to clean the inside of the wheels and washes the wheel wells regularly too..........worth it, but hard work!
