Parking brake light going on for no reason

Hey all,

My brake light in the right bottom corner of the driver information center goes on and then off even though my parking brake is down. Is this a known problem with a known fix? Going into the *********** tomorrow, hopefully, get covered under my select edition warranty.

Sounds like a bad contact or a loose bulb.

lift the boot ( gaitor ) and look for the switch is is fairly obvious.

see if you can get it to go off properly. Maybe something was jammed down on top of the lever and moved the switch a bit....
