Living in Cyprus I note those crazy Greeks are just like us Brits - they picked the right side to get along. Importing these beauties from the UK is relatively cheap- providing you don't go mad on the larger engines. Local dealer prices for an X type are around 3 times the UK cost. Plenty of German machines around - common place. To my mind & keen eye - nothing comes even close to a cats outstanding quality, design and super smooth ride - for the money.

 

as much as people claim they'd never get a Jag because of how "unreliable" they are....but they secretly love Jags.

 

Out here all I get is....Oh, that is the Ford Jag. They are pretty common in Colorado though since they are AWD. Lots of them since they are much cheaper used than a Subaru. I am fine with it though. The attention I get is from the Porsche 911...not as many of them out here due to the snow.

 

Exactly what I meant Mr Trafford. You are so lucky to be able to buy a car of such quality for so little.
We have no such luck in Australia where Jags are a premium. Yes I think you got an excellent deal. I would get an 02 Hyundai Excel here for that kind of money! (not that I want one)
