the reason that ad popped up is because of spyware on your computer. cookies are embedded into your computer every time you do a search. they are called meta-tags and when you conduct a search for say a toyota or search cars etc automotive ads will display as pop ups on your computer. i dont have pop ups on my pc since i block them all but this could be the reason that you saw a toyota ad on your screne.

I just wanted to get in line to drool a bit over the beautiful RED leather.
And as I pointed out in another thread , here in the USA we often get the
lamer, tamer, lower MPG , lower HP versions of what our
European and Asian friends drive.

BTW
I love the British Countryside . Wonderful Pics.
Although I passed through England a few times decades ago ,
most of my modern Imagery of the beautiful English and Welsh countryside comes from
TV shows like Escape to the Country. lol. .... Shropshire, Cornwall , South Downs , Levels, Cheddar Gorge . etc....
I think many Americans might be surprised by the magnitude of beauty and landscape diversity
in Great Britian.
Sometimes I think my XJR is running its best when on a two lane country road here in NE Ohio
passing farm fields full of Guernsey and Jersey brown cows .

You'll have to run. The line for this thread left 7 years ago.

I had an XJ6 with red leather. A beautiful rich colour and didn't show wear the way the lighter colour options do.

Hi BuckMR2, see you still have an X Type. Do you remember when we met up, x amount of years ago, when I think we attended the Castle Bromwich factory? My X Type is now a distance memory but now have a winter and summer car - XJ8 & XK8!

Thats a function of "infinite scroll". Forum owner Internet Brands introduced this feature to give a "better experience" on phones and tablets. It can be disabled in User CP - Edit Options - Thread Display Options if you find it annoying.

I had a Mark X with the red leather. It was very nice but fades in the sun. Of course
there is a fix for that.
