Default Please! I need Help To Programme Cluster

Hello,
I really don't know where to start. Anyway, I am not an expert user of SDD software. I had a Jaguar X-Type 2002 X400 V6 2.5. With a faulty cluster. the car doesn't crank and there is DTC concerning Anti-theft. After checking I found out that there is no communication with the IP. I went to my friend he gave me cluster "IP" from his car. Connected to the car now I can communicate with IP. Unlike before where there was Red X on IP module.
The problem is after I run a configuration on the cluster it didn't complete successfully and it keeps giving me the 4-34 error.
Now bought cars are in non-crank situation.
I really need your help guys.

Understanding the VID block will be helpful.
You may have corrupted your VID block with a replacement module installed in the CAN bus?
It is recommended that you copy the original VID block before replacing modules.

The problem is that the original cluster of the car is dead. I can't communicate with it.
and now I want to get my friend car running with his IP. but always I face the same problem.

When I worked at the dealer I would always call Jaguar Tech Helpline and ask if I could swap/substitute a known-good module from another car. Some modules CANNOT be swapped in if they have been configured to another car. Some modules can be configured without problems.

I remember attending training class when the S-Type was introduced (NP00) and the the instructor recognized one of the attendees from a local dealership.
The dealer was having trouble with a customer car so a tech replaced a module as a test to see if it would fix the issue. He took a module from a car on the showroom floor and the part did NOT fix the car. (in fact it made the car inoperable)

He put the module back in the car on the showroom floor and THAT car became inoperable.

The dealer now had a customer car AND a new car inoperable.
Jaguar field service engineer was dispatched and a week later and both cars were still inoperable.

I think they ended up putting some NEW modules in both cars and reconfiguring the VID blocks.

Moral of the story was.............. ALWAYS copy the original VID block BEFORE replacing modules and call Jaguar Tech Line before installing modules previously configured to another car unless you know it will not damage the VID block.
