Default Plugs, coils change, still missing

Okay my new 2007 X-Type 2.1 litre petrol. Sprayed water on engine, fried a couple of coils. Changed all plugs and coils. On reassembly, now have a miss, but different from earlier one. At speed all is well, but on decreasing speed, or at idle in Drive, the car 'chugs' and tries to move off, and seems to be missing, as it is running very poorly. Ideas?

I also may have slightly crushed a vacuum line that is connected to the top of the manifold and disappears down the back of the engine - a small diameter plastic one that clips in? Would that affect it? Thanks for any help. I'll post a photo of the pipeline later, if necessary.

In case it might be an air (aka vacuum) leak, which it does sound like, read threads on fuel trims and then follow them to see if you do have a leak. (And then fix...)

Okay, thanks JagV8, I have now found the leak, and I don't know how I missed it yesterday after working on the car.

A hose is missing and I must have "lost" it when putting the engine back together. As I am yet to get the Manual (will download sometime soon) I have no idea what it is or where it goes to, so have added a photo and ask if someone can advise where I might find the "missing" hose. Thanks. You should be able to see the hole in the back of the manifold where it goes....

The opening in the top of the manifold is for the tube that provides a vacuum to the brake servo (booster).

Thank you so much, avern1 and Dell Galley. I had found that tube on pictures of the other bigger engined models, but could not recall seeing the check valve on the hose on my 2.1L car. Now that I had a good idea of what it is and what it looks like when fitted, I managed to find it tucked away in an obscure position, and (after a little rerouting) it is now fitted and the car is running much better. Whew!
