Question polyurethane bushes query

I had my tyres rotated today and the service centre said my rear control arm bushes on the front end were showing signs of wear. They recommended replacement with polyurethane bushes as they have a lifetime warranty.
I was just wondering, are there any disadvantages with polyurethane bushes when compared to the OEM version as a lifetime warranty sounds too good to be true!?

Poly vs rubber =
poly lasts longer
Poly is stiffer, thus many times there is more road noise and ride is stiffer/harder.

What Dell said. Poly is a harder material and doesn't absorb bumps as well. But, because it is harder, it doesn't break down as easy, so, lasts longer in a suspension environment. Are we talking "jarring the fillings out of your teeth" harsh ride. No. Will you feel like you have the tires inflated to say 45-50 psi. Probably.
