I have a 2004 X Type with 300 engine. It ran when I first purchased it, except it was in limp mode. I was told it had computer problems. I was also told that I could get around programming another ECM if I could come up with another ECM with matching fey fob and instrument panel.

I would like to know the specifics on this procedure and qualifications the replacement parts must have. Thank you.
