possible steering issues

Default possible steering issues
Hi All..just picked up 04 X 3.0 off lease 36000 mls. noticed slight play in steering wheel and a clunking at a stop when turning s wheel back and forth. handles well at all speeds. clunking is only at initial turn of steering wheel, not through entire turn. purchased ext warranty luckily.
All thought are greatly appreciated

not normal, your lower column bolt may be a little loose. or if it is clunking as you drive then sway bar links can make a noise as well,

jag_genius, you were right on...just got call from shop. lower column bolt loose. GOOD JOB
