Post Clutch Replacement & Shifting
About 3 months ago I had a new clutch, flywheel and pressure plate put in. The car rides great BUT now I have some stiffness getting the car into gear. When I go into 1st or reverse it is stiff and needs some pushing. Once I am going it is as smooth as silk. Then this will go away and out of nowhere get difficult to shift.
The transmission is not slipping, I have changed the fluid to OEM Jag and I am a bit frustrated. A Jag tech told me to bleed the entire brake system again as well as the clutch.
Any additional thoughts, comment, input??
2003 Xtype 5 speed 103K miles.
Thanks
David

I'm going to. I am going also change our my master brake cylinder - I see that it has a leak where it meets the brake booster. I will also change out the Master clutch cylinder THEN bleed! I really hope that these two do the trick.
