My X-Type
This car is exactly the way I purchased it less than 3 months ago. As far as I can tell it is completely original right down to the CD changer not working. With only 75000kms on the clock I'm expecting to get a lot of driving life out of this one. It looks to have been properly cared for and only serviced by Jaguar until it got to the car yard where I purchased it. It may occasionally get to see a passing glimpse of a Jaguar service center now as I drive past, maybe.

I used the Duplicolor Engine Enamel (bright red) without any primer or anything. I just used very light initial coats and then started layering off of there. It came out looking amazing and very durable to heat from what I can tell.

Oh boy. This was one of the tougher mods I have done. Mostly because of my lack of experience using a handheld dremel tool to cut out the letters. There is a thread on here about how to light up the rear plinth.
In summary:
The plinth is removed, then use a dremel tool to cut out the letters making it wide enough for them to be legible when light passes through. Then you use painters tape on the side that everyone will see and add clear silicone to the opposing side to fill up the holes you just made. The silicone acts as both protection and a light diffuser so you can't see the individual leds. Next you just add 2 LED strips on the rear, taking the power from the license plate light (I used the APLINA MAXLED ones form Autozone). Now the JAGUAR lettering shines whenever you turn your parking lights or headlights.
Definitely worth all the headaches in the end though. Makes the car look like some sort of 2014 car. I even got complimented when I took it into the Jag dealership and they are the type that don't really like seeing modded cars!

I planned to plasti dip the wheels and tried it out on one but **** was peeling right away so said skip that. I bought a sand blaster and I'm just going to paint them a few different colors in their lifetime. Business has been crazy busy (which is good) bud I haven't had time to do anything new in a while. I'm having the exhaust done this week though I love this car!

Mine's a 2002 2.5 auto. It runs great and is bone dry underneath. I've had it for around three years now. All I've done is...
New Battery
Sump Gasket
ABS pump
Serpentine Belt
Brake Rotors & Pads
Tires all round
Changed out the cassette for a CD
ACM so I can listen to my tunes
Need to....
Replace the micro switch in the J Gate
Fix the sunroof
Paint job. The Florida sun has demolished the roof. And it has the usual scratches and bumps
I'd like some new rims due to curb rash

My Wife's 2004 3.0 auto. Was purchased in 2005 as a Birthday Present.
Have replaced:
Windshield
Tires and 1 rim
Amber repeaters with clear lens
Added:
Black mesh on lower grill
Stainless mesh on grill
Need to replace:
Front struts (replacements in the garage)
Coolant reservoir (Seems to have a leak)

Here's a few more pictures. I want to paint the parking sensor panel gloss black. I replaced the 2.5 badge with an England flag. My poor roof. And the new rotors and pads. Also I replaced the front marker and turn signal lights with clear and amber chrome bulbs.

Looking good as usual Jeremy. I am curious about how low you are aired out, can you measure from the ground to say, the tops of the side skirts at the front and rear wheels? I'd say front and rear bumpers but I don't have my front lip on yet. I'm just wondering how much lower you are on bags than I am with my static setup. Not that I'm competing with you are anything haha, just curious.
Oh and can one of the moderators sticky this thread now that its got some momentum?

Now I'm a few inches higher, but can't fully air out, as it hits sidewalls where those pics were taken.
