Default Power Steering issue

Hello Everyone!

Once in a while, about 50/50, my power steering is making odd noises when turning at any speed. It sounds almost like R2D2 (lol star war fans) or a servo in the steering of a remote control car. It sounded as if it were coming from the rack when i was torqueing(sp?) down the caliper during a break joband the wheel was turning. It has done this for quite some time, but i heard it a little closer when doing the brakes. It sound moderatly loud inside the vehicle when it happens. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Sorry for the vague description.

ps. The fluid is fine, has a good alignment, and doesnt affect the steering.

Default RE: Power Steering issue

There is an additive you can get to put in the fluid. It is the seal in the rack making the noise. Email me your email address and I will send the bulletin on how to and the part number. Cheap fix.
