I have read the Audio Handbook cover to cover and I can not figure out two things:

1) I hate "PTY" on the radio - I like to see the actual station I am listening to and not read who or what is playing. Is there a way to turn OFF PTY so I can just see the radio station? PTY is on page #14 in the Handbook...(looking at a PDF)

2) When a CD is playing (I have a 6 Changer) is there a way to display the play time on the screen so I can see "Track 2 1:34" (as an example if the song has played for 1 min and 34 seconds)...

Re: question one, try either disabling or turning off the Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS) function. In your '02 audio handbook, these are covered on pages 2-5 (RBDS operation) and 2-7 (Radio set up).
