Question question regarding how to keep headlight jets deployed

Hey folks.
While detailing my car today (always seem to find something new wrong when i detail), i found that my px side headlight jet cover is loose (one of the clips snapped)
question is, how can i keep the units deployed so i can repair this (thinking CA glue followed by an epoxy coat to keep out moisture).

always wanted to clean the area as well.

Hi, there is a detailed thread on the uk forum showing you how to put the headlamp washers in the service position. Click this link and search in the box

While the car is running & headlight/headlamp on, have someone press the wash/wiper knob a few times. I believe at every 6 times the headlamp washer will deploy. When it deploys you can hold on to the washer nossle (not the cover). You can also use a clamp to have it stay out of the bumper cover.

If the cover is loose, you are more likely be needing this...

There's a metal / alum version of this in the UK ebay. Go look around.

While deployed or pulled out, you will need a flat screw driver to pinch the locking groove at the nossle. The very tip of the nossle where the cover is connected will pull out. To install it again, you need someone to press the wiper washer switch again & then hold the nossle & then slide the tip back in.

Many thanks, I will register on the UK forum this evening and find that link. It's a pity that the WS manual doesn't give the info, but that's the usual situation, reams of info except the detail you need.
