Ordered! Can't wait to replace the parts I'm waiting for my pliers so I can check the fuses in the meantime. Any idea where I can order a "Windshield heater relay" and a "Accessory power relay"?

Have you checked the under hood fuse box? Mine has spare fuses as well as a fuse puller stored there.

I really wish you would have told me about the pulley a couple days ago. I bought pliers thinking I did not have a tool to pull them out with But yes, I checked both fuse boxes. Found only the two missing relays and the blown fuse for the fog lights.

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-relay-119584/

windshield heater relay is for front heated windshield (standard on European and some other countries, but not U. S.) There are connections under the wiper cover if windshield is replaced and with this relay and 2 additional fuses for left and right, you can have electrically heated defrost that activates with the front defrost button that turns air to windshield on the interior. There's a thread here on adding it.

I have a code reader on the way. I changed the PVC valve and the brake booster vacuum. I started the car and the idle sounds normal. How do I determine if I solved the vacuum leak?

You read the fuel trims. Tool cost $10 or less.

I do not see the tool you are referencing. Could you send a link?

At the risk of stepping on JagV8's toes, as he is wealth of information to us all.

Were it my car; I would clear the codes with your shiny new code reader, wait and see if any new codes appear (CEL/MIL, etc.). then start tackling them one by one with the help of your fellow forum members.

Congrats on getting getting the vacuum leaks fixed!

I plugged my U480 OBDII reader in and came up with the following codes:

P0174
C1145
C1175
P1000 Pending
C1145 Pending
C1175 Pending

I then tried to clear the codes but came up with a "FAIL!" message. I am not sure where to go from here.

You may need to make sure that the engine is off before clearing codes, the key should be in the on position just before the start.

Hopefully this solves your problem. I needed to replace the intake manifold gaskets on mine.

I’ll try to erase the codes tomorrow. My check engine light and ABS light are still on along with the “cruise not available” and “DSC system fault”.

On your unit, using the hot button may work.

To do this, hold the scroll button for several seconds which is supposed to be faster and easier than using the main menu.

I’m at bit of a loss here. I plugged the scanner in when the car was off, turned the car to “on”, started a scan, and the codes still won’t clear. Even when I tried to “hot” reset the codes by holding the scroll button.

I also just started my car and the idle would go from 250 rpm to 500 rpm. After giving it a little gas it stayed consistently at 1000 rpm.

Maybe the codes won't reset because all the drive cycles haven't been completed?

Drive cycle (I.e. Your p1000 = not complete, changes to p1111 when complete) have no bearing or influence on reading or clearing any other fault code(s). Read your instructions again. An OBD has no brains, it just does what you tell it to do.

The c codes are rh front and lh rear sensor problems. The p0174 is a too lean code.
