Hi folks,

Don't know if this has been the case since I bought the car, but I don't think so as I am very picky so I would have noticed. Anyhow, last night on the way home I noticed my radio display was backlit far less then the heater control backlighting. I tried playing with the brightness knob by the headlight switch and it would dim everything and when I turned it all the way up everything was bright like it should be EXCEPT for the Radio/CD backlighting. It is on but slightly dimmer and the only light that goes that dim. How does one fix this issue? I have read other threads on other forums and most just say, buy a used radio unit on ebay!!! It is almost like they are saying it is not worth the time to track down the issue or replace the bulb.

Anyone here have this issue and if you fixed it, please share. Thank you

This is "normal" in the sense that they are all like this. I used to think that it was the different angle of view that caused the lower screen to seem slightly dimmer (still not sure).
