2002 x type 3.0. Is it safe to leave my jag outside under no roof? I heard that rain gets into the trunk and damages "computers" in the trunk... Is this true?

 

jagm, in the truck, never heard of that. Some members have had issues with getting water into the tranny computer and that causing issues, but that is a rarity. Do not worry about it. I'm sure the kitty would love to be pampered, but my kitty sits out all the time and no problems. Even handled a few hurricanes with no issues.

I've been running Jaguars for over forty years in England where we know a thing or two about rain and never had any issues.

Just check from time to time the rubber seal is undamaged and any drain tubes aren't blocked.
