Default RE: Question about 90k service please

As I am approaching 90,000 miles on my 2002 Jaguar X-type (3.0) I merely wanted to ask your opinion on the relative amount of service involved at this mileage marker v. the 100,000 point and your guesstimate on what I should expect to pay for this 90k service.
(i.e. should I take it to the dealership or would a qualified mechanic be able to do this service provided that I give him the checklist for 90k?)

Lastly, I noticed that the the car may "skip" for a second when accelerating. I changed the fuel pump but still happens. Since the spark plugs have not been changed when i bought the car two years ago at 55k, can this be source of problem? and if so, perhaps I can have them changed at the 90k service instead of the 100k as listed on the service schedule? how much for this job?
Thank for your wise feedback! I really appreciate it!!!

As for the 90k service, I really don't know the specifics, but I can tell you that you might get charged somewhere around $400-$600 for changing out the spark plugs cause you have to tear apart the manifold to get to the rear bank of spark plug. That price estimate is from a dealership, but I'm sure another qualified shop could do the same thing at a much cheaper price because they won't charge as much for labor which is the main expense.
