Default Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing

I don't know if this topic has been covered elsewhere. My wife's '02 X-Type has a metal on metal noise coming from the rear. On inspection, it looks like the inside bushing on the lower rear control arm is worn. The control arm hangs down lower and is slightly twisted because of this. Are these bushings available or does the entire control arm need to be replaced ? Thanks for the help

Default Rear control arm

If it's the rear lower front control arm, you have to replace the entire arm.

what is the reason you say you have to replace the whole arm over a rubber bushing?
you just have to take it off the car and find a replacement that is the same dimensions, unless there is some reason why you cant get the bushing out?

Because it's easy, and the control arm is not that expensive. According to Jaguar these bushings is not available.

according to jaguar you cant rebuild a transmission either and its 8 grand for a new 1....
just pull the arm off, pop out the busing and go to a local parts shop and buy a 5-$20 bushing then grease it up and pop it in.
i dont know what the replacement part from jag would cost, but im willing to guess its over 200...just like everything on the jag.
