Rear screen wash - blockage

Rear screen wash - blockage RESOLVED
Just noticed rear screen wash not working on recently acquired X-type Estate. Pump turns and squirts water with pipe removed. Can't blow through pipe from pump to rear screen or the other way using foot pump. Removed washer jet at rear screen, still no flow.
I've seen mention of a check valve in the system - can anyone advise where to find it ? Are there any other locations I should look for the blockage?
[EDIT - I didn't find the check valve, but it must be quite near the rear of car. I gently persuaded a lubricated length of stainless steel wire (with blunt end) through the washer pipe from under the front wheel arch - wasn't quite long enough to reach all the way to rear. Then pulsed 50-60 psi air into the line, eventually the line cleared. ]
