Default Rear Shocks and Bearings

Guys, I need rear shocks and bearings for my 03 X-Type Base.

The shocks that I am getting are Heavy Duty Series (BE5-6676-H0) AWD Rear (24-066761) at Essex Distributors - Bilstein Shock Absorbers

Bearings can't be replaced so I need new hubs, however I don't know the difference between hub and assembly.

I want to order the parts online to give to my local garage, there is no JAG dealer local and usually cheaper.

So there are the Timken's
Timken Wheel Hub by - JCWhitney

Or the Beck Arnley's
Beck Arnley Wheel BearingOE replacement - JCWhitney

There are many others, but those are full or half assembly to me.

I want the ABS to work after the replacement.
What do you suggest?

Thanks for your direction.

I just replaced both rear hubs two weekends ago. I ordered from Car Part Kings at the following link:

Car Part Kings - 051-6293 Rear Wheel Hubs

They were drop shipped directly from a Beck Arnley warehouse.

Nick, Does your ABS still work after replacement?

My understanding is that the ABS sensor plug is attached to the Wheel knuckle and not the Wheel hub?

Also Nick do you think GMB 713-0001 on Amazon is good. I updated the link again, but it's acting strange.

Correct on the ABS sensor, it is not attached to the hub. You will run right up against the sensor when removing the lower caliper bolt but there is just enough room so as not to have to remove the sensor.

I googled "GMB 713-0001" and it comes up several places including Sears automotive; it does appear to be the correct hub.

Also, the bolts holding my hubs on were Torx 50 bolts and I had to use a 3/8 ratchet extension to reach them. You will definitely need a tool to turn back the brake caliper pistons a bit as well to reinstall the calipers, there is a tool specifically for this purpose but I used a pair of pliers that fit into the notches and took turns alternating between turning and pushing.

Thanks Gold,

I seen it at Sears as well.
I think I will order the amazon one tonight. Lots of experience with them shipping to me in Canada.

Thanks again

I went with the Heavy Duty Series (BE5-6676-H0) Shocks and
GMB 713-0001 Wheel hubs.

Ordering online saved me $700 dollars.
