Default rear suspension question

If the rear suspension is gone and no good how would the ride quality be?
wouldnt the height be a little lower in the back?

if the rear suspension is bad then you will either be getting uneven tire wear due to failed suspension components or it will feel almost as if you are driving a boat whenever you go over a bump (meaning the back of the car will go up and down without being dampened.)

The riding characteristics of the vehicle is depends upon the many factors and height of the suspension is one of most important factor. so by changing the height, you can say that you're changing the vehicle riding. the stiffness of the spring might be changing by considering the weight at the rear, suppose if the engine is placed at the rear then spring stiffness shoild be more at the rear than at the front..

If you don't feel it, but you hear it, it could be coming from your brake pads or caliper rattling as well. I had that same issue, but I put some high temp rtv on it and it went away

Maybe a stupid question, but what is "rtv" ? I seem to have the same problem, so maybe this could help me too, but being norwegian, I don't know all your abbreviations

I just did the back of my caliper to save some time, but this image shows the recommended lube points. Recent image by power-flow on Photobucket
