I want to check on the rear view mirrors, you have two sensors/detectors in the bottom part. Inbetween the sensor is the push button.
My question when you press & depress the bottom, should a light indicator show whether the rear view mirror is on auto shade or not?

In my other cars (non jag) there is. Does your xtype have light indicator in the rear view mirror or not?

I don't think there is. Mine work fine but there's no indicator.

 

There is no indicator. My XJ also has no indicator for the autodim function.
