I'm not being able to untighten the 2 bolts holding the starter motor for 04' X-type Manual transmission.

Did you have any problem removing the 2 bolts holding the starter?
First, I could not get to the bolts hence needed to remove the intak manifold to be able to reach.
Second, I could not turn the bolts. I lubricated, used different tools, but eventually broke my 3/8 inch adaptor and still didn't turn a bit.
How were you able to reach the bolts without removing the manifold? And what kind of tool did you use?
