Replaced oxygen sensor, but same codes appear
Hi Guys,
I need some help. Recently my Jag started using more fuel than usual and smelt fumes after stopping in the garage. Turns out I had an Oxygen Sensor problem with codes P0051 and P0052. The car was already at 106,000km so decided to replace the sensor. Bought a proper Denso and made sure I got the the right one. To my dismay the codes appeared again after rescanning the ECU and symptoms still showed up. Checked the immediate connections points and wires. Everything seems to be ok.
I'd be glad to hear your thoughts and suggestions on what to check next. Could an exhaust leak throw these codes?
Cheers,
Sean
