I need to replace the driver's side rear axle on my 2005 X-type Sport. There are aftermarket axles for less than $ 100, but they're Chinese-made and don't get too many good reviews. A number of used ones are also available (some more expensive than the new ones!) as well as rebuilt units, presumably using OEM axles. Has anyone had to purchase a replacement axle that has experience with any or all of the above?

I have replaced one with a used unit. Dr Dome was my choice for supplying the used parts. He is a forum member that parts out x-types, check and see if he has what you need. Call or text 484-903-4813.
