The plastic base that pulls up for reverse, the paint is chipping. Anyone know the part code for this or where i can buy a new one?

Can you clarify what you mean by this? Are you speaking about a manual shift X-Type? in that case there is only a chrome ring that lifts up. And if you are speaking about an automatic, well,...I just can't figure out what you mean. Help us to help you....perhaps a photo of the part you mean?

 

Sorry, but yes the chrome plastic piece on a 5 speed MT.

 

Thanks for the clarification; I do not believe that this piece is available separately from the entire shifter assembly. Sorry. Chrome paint?
