Hi - first time on here so be gentle. I have a 2.2d x type 198k on the odo and still goes like its new. I generally look after ir but have a real problem on start up.

Engine starts but feels poweless and almost like in limp mode - no fault lights or codes - within 5 seconds it clears then runs fune BUT if i drive very lightly on the gas it misses and splutters for the first 5 mins until warmes up then seems fine. Thought it might be egr valce so checked vacuum on guage so diaphram fine -if however i disconnect plug from egr problem significantly goes. Currently running without egr plugged in. any ideas
