Just wondering where you bought the injector? My '04 Jag is at the mechanic after it started shaking and the engine light came on...then it died. It started back up, but shook pretty bad. Mechanic said it's showing a misfire in cylinder 2, but isn't sure what is causing it. Trying to say it might be the computer. Just want to "suggest" some things.

I got the injector from eBay new. It was around $50. In my case, I'm not sure if it was the injector or coil that was bad. Try swapping coil 2 and coil 6 around and see if the misfire moves to cylinder 6. Cylinder 2 is on the front left nearest to the passenger headlight and cylinder 6 is on the front right nearest the driver side headlight.

Default Hi Thermo

Any tips as how to remove these two manifold pipes and the conector at the back, thinking of using some grips as I am having no joy with the hands.

Cheers, Mike

Thanks for the info. Turned out to be 3 coils, both cam sensors and the crank sensor.
