The back seat in the X I just bought was really rough. So yesterday I was in Atlanta on business and went by an auto recycler and picked up a new seat bottom. I also went by Coventry West and purchased a boot lock mech. I installed the lock today and it works wonderfully. I also cleaned up the new seat bottom and installed it too.

Struck out on a defroster vent but hey 2 out of 3 ain't bad. The bottom cleaned up really nice and looks outstanding!!!

He said his son used it for college but it looks like he cruised around with about 4 kids in the back seat for years, There was candy, soda and petrified fries everywhere under the seats and all over the interior. I do not know what spilled on the leather but it ate it and the foam pretty good.

 

My dog was pretty rough on the interior of my X-wagon for years...I had it detailed, now my daughter loves the car and ignores the occasional strands of white fur that worked themselves into the carpets and headliner... Sorry! [Dog wants to go for a ride in the F-Type but so far I'm resisting...]. I'd love a F-Pace but I'd only screw it up with a new dog.
