Hi all, public holiday so time to get some work done on Jag number 1, lost the only key some time ago now have 2 keys, new to me along with ignition barrel and door lock, now would like to setup the transponders, so started the SDD v1.3 and diagnostics all green apart from modules not installed, however, selecting Service functions kicks off another 'scan' but stays on main screen.

What am I missing, any steps i should follow?

Solved

Finally pushed through and got SDD V1.3 connected via a Mongoose cable to program new keys.

Had a minor issue with the GEM not responding, I had removed this and the ECM due to connectivity issues, so a quick pull of the connectors, and a spray of electrical contact cleaner on both sides, left to dry out and this time SDD finds GEM.
2 Keys programmed (transponder), I found a pair of keys with ignition barrel and door lock on that well know site, all to replace the one and only lost key I had when I brought the car.

Just need to fix the headlining, tailgate switch, stuck passengers door oh and ariel the complete the service MOT..... and I am sure there will a bunch of other bits too
