Before I purchase these item I want to see if anyone tried to insert the 08-09 seats into an older xtype & are the plugs the same -

I found a great looking full set of seats from a 08 xtype matches mines - I really like the leather design they did on these years - but don't want to buy & not sure if they fit or are fully functional - so if anybody knows or can point me to someone that does I would really appreciate it -

 

Only thing I could say is if its possible to look at them before hand, make sure the bolt patterns line up....I honestly doubt they would change the frame that much to where they wouldnt fit but I could be wrong...sorry not much help there but on something like I would want to check out the specs in person...such as the wiring harness you mentioned...could be completely different

 

Juan, the bolt pattern is the same for all X-TYpe seats. That was never changed. If you have a later 04 car, then the plugs should be the same too provided you are getting a car trimmed out to the same level (ie, if you have memory seats, then they need to be memory seats too, if you don't have memory, then they have to be non-memory as the memory and non-memory seats have different plugs).
