Sensor Issues 2004 Xtype Jaguar 3.0

I changed the pedal position sensor and the transmission light comes up on the dashboard and the car loses pedal power, have to keep cutting the car off and restarting it. Does the throttle body sensor have anything to do with this problem.

TPS and the big sensor, mine pooched and had no throttle pedal but after tearing apart the throttle body and using TB cleaner and electrical contact cleaner on the sensors everything worked perfect, I cleared the codes and they never came back.
