One thing I couldn't find in my manual was how to get to the front side parking light. It looks like it should come off, but it looks like the previous owner glued it on. It might be that you have to go in under the wheel well liner? Any feedback would be appreciated.

looks like I think I found how it's supposed to come out. Slide it forward and there's a clip on the back side facing the rear of the car. Is that correct?

I guess I'm going to have to try and cut the glue away, or try to get in through the wheel well.

X-tyre, your follow up is correct. You should just be able to slide the lens housing unit forward or back and there is a clip on the fat end. You may want to have a flat head screwdriver on hand to help pop it out, but you are on the right track. They pop out fat end first and there's a plastic hook on the narrow end. Don't force it or else you'll be buying replacements if you break the hook on the narrow end. Might be what the previous owner did, which is why you are noticing they appear glued. If you're feeling adventurous, assuming you have to replace them, eBay has some clear replacements with amber bulbs that might add some character depending on what color your X is.

Thank you both for the help. The visual is always great to have. unfortunately the one I have to replace was glued on by the dealership. I think I'm gonna have to go in threw the wheel well. at least only one side was glued, and now I really want the clear ones.
