Since noise is active topic, anyone know this one?
PSSSST
Every time I hit a speed bump or dip I get a psssst sound from the passenger(US) front wheel well. This tire also rubs the fender with above average bump. It has seen a few curbs and a wreck prior to me, so I figured the rub being a result of that. (switched tires and rims, not the culprit)
But now I hear the PSSSST sound and wonder if the shock contraption up there could have a fault, could it?
Is it just a strut? Or does it involve a central hydraulic system and skilled install?
