Hey everyone I recently bought a 2009 jaguar x type 2.2d automatic, i noticed something hanging on the underside of the car at the drivers seat area (left seat Not UK) anyone that can identify if it’s something setious? It might be hard to judge from this video

 

Yea, that's totally normal to the best of my knowledge. That part does tend to hang down after a while.
It usually gives no trouble, but last year, after going up some small gravel roads mine started making noise underneath for a few minutes.
I think I reversed the car and it scooped up some gravel. But later the noise went away because the gravel probably fell out again.
