Sometimes slows down when downshifts
I've noticed sometimes it seems like my x-type slows down a lot when it downshifts. I'm just wondering if this is just how these cars drive or if it means something. It's an automatic with about 80k miles and I've changed the tranny fluid and oil in the transfer case. Everything seems to be running fine at the moment, other than the unusual way it slows down when I'm coming to a stop sometimes. Maybe it's just the gearing of the AWD and that's how it downshifts.

Hmm. I'm wondering if it's the driveshaft bearing. They say it starts to squeak in the cold. Mine doesn't squeak, but I am hoping to grease it sometime soon. I've heard a lot of people recommend the Castrol multi-import tranny fluid on here. It seems like good stuff. It's probably just the way these cars are geared with the awd.
