Speaker replacement with factory mounts
I found a set of 6 1/2in speakers that will fit in the factory speaker bracket if you cut the old speaker out, and they sound a lot better then the factory ones. Now to decide if I want to install a new radio or just install the isimple Bluetooth/ aux input adapter.
The speakers are kicker DSC65

I figured I'd try it, I was just going to toss the old ones in the trash anyway since they were blown. It ended up working out really well. The only thing I suggest is the lip of the new speaker hangs out just a hair. So I took some self adhesive silicone tape I had laying around and wrapped it around the edge so it wouldn't rub or rattle against the door panel. Its the tape they sell to repair leaking pipes and radiator hoses.
