Special Jaguar Tools Required?

I took my 2004 x-type to the dealer. They said I need a new brake booster. Their price was high, so I took it to a local garage. They tell me they can't fix it because there is a jaguar specific tool required. Another garage I called tells me no such tool is required. Who is right? Thanks.
Do they mean brake booster as in brake booster hose? This is a common failure on older X-Types and it is super easy to install. If it is the actual brake booster (master cylinder?) then I'm not sure what to tell you.
There you go Thermo. Now your talkin' my game, old school, shade tree mechanics way of doin' things. Not pretty, but we get things done. We didn't have all this fancy stuff back in the day, but we sure did get repair done didn't we?
