I'm in the midst of changing the front stab bushings on my 03 x type and I noticed the excessive length on the bracket bolts themselves...this is why they no doubt call for lowering the sub-frame and blah blah blah...My thought is to cut some of the excess length off the bottom of the bolt and then it should be easy to remove and reinstall...wondering if I'm not missing something obvious? Thanks!
