For removing the front springs and struts my manual says to loosen the sub frame and detatch the lower ball joint. Is this really necessary? And why? It looks like I have enough room without goint through all of these excess steps, especially dropping the sub frame. Isn't there an easier way to remove these and if I do loosen the subframe and detatch the lower ball joint won't I need to do a subframe allignment?
