Default Squirrelly Rear end in snow

Do you guys have any suggestions? I was driving to work today in my 2002 xtype 3.0 manual. there was about 1-3 inches of fresh snow on the ground. when I was driving it seemed like the rear end wanted to go back and forth and jump around. I just replaced the rear left(drivers) caliper about three weeks ago. other than that i replaced the rear brakes a month ago. on my way home today the roads were fine my the rear end still seems a little squirrelly.

Let Me know your ideas

Thanks

Morgan

How's the alignment on that rear end? When my rear control arm bushings were worn and resulted in a fair amount of negative camber, I noticed the squirrely rear end too.

Try one of those
IR temp sensing "guns" IR temp sensing "guns"
, see if one of those brake rotors are warm.

You might have one of the brakes dragging a bit. In the snow, it might not take much to make things feel unstable.

It ended up being multiple control arms in the rear end. I replaced three of them and then I got an alignment from the ford dealer. It's back to going straight down the road and not jumping everywhere. Beware. The control arms can add up in price but I found two on eBay and one on I think parts giant(pretty sure it was them).

Good luck. Hollar at me if u need any more info
