Default Start car.

I could really use a mechanic that works on jags, not to many around DC that works on them, looks like I may have to go to the dealer. No back up lights, loss of power, everything dies, when jumped runs for about 30seconds and then dies. HELP!!

Have you tried the battery or tested the power on it.
I am guessing for the moment, is there anything visible at all?

Burton, it is sounding like you have a bad battery cable. I would say to first start with getting new battery cables installed and then also having the battery load tested to see how good it may be. Then we can take things from there.

On a side note, what part of DC are you in? I am south of you by an hour in California. I might be able to come up and help you get this figured out.
