Default Two Questions,

Hi everyone,
I have two questions for everyone today...

Number 1, the thermostat housing, where that housing bolts to the block there are 2 bolts, what is the torque on those two bolts? I have a leak there, I need to remove it, clean the seating surface, apply some gasket maker and reinstall it.

Number 2, Would it be smarter to get an updated cooling fan module, and have to get the adapter cord, or get a 2002 module, which we know has problems?

Thanks for your help everyone.

Justice, not sure there is a torque spec to those bolts, but I would simply snug them up with a good sealant on the mating surface and call it good.

As for upgrading to the new fan module, that is a tough call. It would give you peace of mind, but at the same time, ready to pay the big dollar for the new module? Pick a path and don't look back. Either way is a good choice.
