I've got no experience with this diesel engine, but suggest you check operation of your glow plugs. If they're not working a cold engine will not start. Here's what I read (abbreviated and condensed) from my Haynes manual:
Component locations
1. Preheating controlled by ECM, receives temp from cylinder head temp sensor.
2. Cylinder head temp sensor is screwed into the transmission end of cylinder head.
3. Glow plug relay is located in the fusebox in engine compartment in front of battery.
I'm thinking your problem is common to all four glow plugs, so would start with the relay first. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much for your reply really appreciate it.
Yes I will try and change relay will have to find out where it is I know it's in the fuse box behind battery but I would need to know which relay it is for glow plugs.
Thanks again
